Castle

This project demonstrates a few mult-pass rendering techniques to quickly build scenes with limited resources. Channel Lighting was used to light the foreground 3D castle, which made it easy to match the background light and make it feel like it is in the environment. Light Wrap was used to further integrate the foreground objects with the background by blooming the light of the sky. The ridge and mist layers were added using 2D layers automatically tracked to the scene using Fast Tracker. The overall color palette of the shot was designed with Colorize. Each element was color corrected separately to fit the scene appropriately. Color Composite was for miscellaneous corrections. For example, the sun glare across the top of the bridge was enhanced with Color Composite.
